What product options are available?

Aya’s all-in-one digital wallet, accessible on desktop and mobile (rated 4.7 on iOS and Android), gives employees instant access to submit claims, view history, eligibility, balances, and plan information. Your clients can choose between our Prepay and Postpay options; Prepay includes our popular Visa card with white-labeling options!

Are there restrictions on who I can sell Aya to?

Aya is available to all registered businesses in Canada—small, medium, large, or enterprise—with one or more employees, with no size restrictions. Self-employed individuals qualify if they receive T4 income from their incorporated business.

For HSAs, employers set up and fund the accounts, defining eligibility based on job level or status for their employees. Eligibility can include full-time, part-time, seasonal, and contract employees, depending on the employer’s plan rules and whether employees are T4’d or T4A contractors under ELHT guidelines.

What if my client already has a provider

No problem! Eligible expenses go to their primary group benefits plan first, then to their partner’s plan if applicable. Any unpaid portions can then be submitted to Aya’s HSA/WSA for comprehensive coverage. 

Coverage Scenarios

  1. Prepay – No Coverage with Traditional Plan

    • Pay with Aya Prepaid Visa Card.

    • Submit receipt via Aya app or portal—no out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses.

  2. Prepay – Traditional Coverage with Direct Billing

    • Use Aya Card for remaining balance.

    • Submit receipt via Aya app or portal for no OOP expenses.

  3. Postpay – Traditional Coverage Without Direct Billing

    • Pay OOP, submit claim to traditional plan, and submit remaining balance via Aya app or portal.

How long does client onboarding take?

Once we receive the completed application, onboarding is completed within 24 hours.

What happens after my client is onboarded?

Once enrolled, the business owner and Plan Admins( if applicable) receive automated welcome emails with everything they need to get started, including team enrollment guides. Employees gain portal access with real-time updates and engagement tools to encourage usage.

What happens during renewal season?

Renewal reminders are automated, with notifications sent at 90, 60, and 30 days before renewal. This gives clients time to consider plan updates, like adding HSA/WSA or adjusting allocations = more earnings for you!

Will the Aya Plan cost increase year over year?

No, costs only change if the employer updates benefit limits or if you update your fees. Unused funds are returned to the employer!

Can Aya backdate coverage for new clients?

Yes! WSA can be backdated up to one year, and HSA can be backdated to the most recent quarter.

Does my client need an HR Department to manage Aya?

No HR needed! Aya is designed to be simple and user-friendly for any business size. Our support team is here to help, and advisors have VIP access to our C-Suite team.

Does Aya offer CE Advisor Credits?
