What is Aya’s coverage offering?
Aya provides Health Spending Accounts (HSA), Wellness Spending Accounts (WSA), and a flexible HSA+WSA solution for businesses of all sizes. With our Flex option, employees can allocate funds to either account within set limits.

What product options are available?
Aya’s all-in-one digital wallet, accessible on desktop and mobile (rated 4.7 on iOS and Android), gives employees instant access to submit claims, view history, eligibility, balances, and plan information.

How is Aya different from other benefit providers?
Aya offers complete transparency with no hidden fees. As a people-centric provider, we believe employees should have the freedom to prioritize their health and wellness without restrictions. We empower employees with fully customizable spending options, all funded by the employer, so there’s no cost to them.

What if I already have a provider?
No problem! Eligible expenses go to their primary group benefits plan first, then to their partner’s plan if applicable. Any unpaid portions can then be submitted to Aya’s HSA/WSA for comprehensive coverage. 

Coverage Scenarios

  1. Prepay – No Coverage with Traditional Plan
    • Pay with Aya Prepaid Visa Card.
    • Submit receipt via Aya app or portal—no out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses.
  2. Prepay – Traditional Coverage with Direct Billing
    • Use Aya Card for remaining balance.
    • Submit receipt via Aya app or portal for no OOP expenses.
  3. Postpay – Traditional Coverage Without Direct Billing
    • Pay OOP, submit claim to traditional plan, and submit remaining balance via Aya app or portal.



What happens after I’m onboarded by my employer?
As soon as you’re enrolled, you will receive an invite email! This invite email will provide you access to your portal. Once this is completed successfully you will receive a welcome email with everything you need to know to get started!

My employer set me up with a HSA+WSA, how does it work?
Great news! You have all-in-one coverage. You’ll receive a balance for each bucket to use within the specified frameworks. If your employer set up a Flex account for you, you’ll receive a lump sum and can decide how much to allocate to your HSA or WSA bucket at the start of the year!
